We have the 'like button, and I know this is a format like many others, but could a 'dislike' be incorporated into the system?

NO!!! you just need to like EVERYTHING you read and we'll just assume you "dislike" something when we dont see your "like" there.

I don't see a need for it. No need for negativity. If it's bad enough you can report them and a mod can give them negative rep. I believe. I mean, do you really think if there was a dislike button that swerve would really show up every once in a while. ha, jk but really, at least the "like" button shows up any more, for a while there there was no "like" button, at least for me there wasn't.
we dont give negative rep so i dont know where you get that information from.

So what happens if they are reported, if it's bad enough they get banned? Lame... I'm down for the dislike button now. And what's up with not being able to delete any pics. uploaded to the site? That's just wrong in my eyes. Don't get me wrong I love the site, it's helped make me the grower I am today but there are some things it could improve on.

As much as I like some of the mods here, they don't have that kind of power. Any negative rep I got, I did all on my own!
no i think you're jumping the gun honey, we dont ban people right away, if you are reported for something you post, we check into it, we will edit, or delete the post if deemed inappropriate such as calling another member a fucking looser asshole who you wanna kill, ect ect things like that. Then if you continue to post suchs obscenities, we will warn you a few times or so , then we will throw out the ban hammer, we are quite nice people, so we give everyone fair chance.
As for the pics not being able to upload, it's a slight issue and we are working on it please enjoy this FREE website, which we provide you with.

I know I'm a newb of sorts, and I might and probably do or say things from time to time that are wrong, but I have only had 2 things pointed out to me I can remember since starting to post in August of last year, that might have been incorrect, or wrong, and both times, it was from people that I respect their views and experience, and when I am pointed out that I am incorrect, I admit my mistake, and take it as a learning experience.
What I am making note of, is the sudden influx of people from GC, that insist on arguing and posting conflicting views and opinions, even going to the extent of arguing with/ towards new and old members alike from this site.
It has gotten to the point of not being amusing anymore, but to the point it is down right irritating.
I know, as an open forum, we cannot control the inflow, nor the intelligence level of the new members, but there must be SOMETHING we can do to limit/ prevent the comments/ misinformation posted and given to the general viewing audience from the new members.

this is where my discussion on use the report button comes in, help us help you, you must report anything you find that's problematic, fighting, harassment, excessive swearing ect. You're completely right there is something we can do, and that something is using the darn report button, we are volunteers and cannot be online 365 24/7 so we need the help of members to help everyone on the forum

I don't think it would reflect on the mods in any way, but if we can 'like' something, why can't we 'dislike' something when a person that ALWAYS posts rude or stupid shit posts something that is just irrelevant or stupid regarding the thread being posted in?

I dont think its a matter of weather or not why we cant dislike something or thumbs down it. I think its more like its not implemented in the vbulletin forum set up so its physically impossible to do it.

There's multiple vbulletin mods that would allow it, or custom written implementation of it - should the owner(s) should to take that route, and think it's a good idea

I agree, it would be highly abused but if the majority wanted it.. I would just ask that any who do not use it could be immune to the power of it.. 1 use of dislike would open said flood gate.i will do my best to find out the exact reason for no dislike button however i feel it would fall under "people who abuse it too much" category or the "we dont have that option " or maybe bothBut I will ask and get back to you guys within 1-2 days ^_^
