How am i doing? (week3 flower w/pics)

So im growing a couple plants (one Shiva Skunk and and grand daddy x trainwreck) and im about 3.5 weeks into flower. (more info in journal if you want to know) this is only my second grow in a long time so i was wondering if my babies are looking alright (poor camera quality i know) and was wondering when the swelling will start? and also some of the pistols are already starting to change color is that normal? anyways thanks for stopping by and happy tokin!

swell up like that ass in your av. last 2 weeks for indies and sat are gaining through out the grow, dont worry about pistil color its the color of the thc glans you watch for 60-70% amber,
my thought to each his own.

It looks pretty good. You got a couple weeks left and you're on the right track. It should start turning amber soon and yes they do swell up a little. They should start swelling right around the 3rd week depending on the rate of growth for your plant. If they have grown slower then expect extra time.

so swelling happends towards the end of flowering? i know pistil color has no relevance, i was just wondering if their changing color this early was normal. but thanks, +rep to you guys!!

yes and the pistls turn as they age really has no bearing on your flower process, new pistil may come 1 day be for harvest no biggy

but now the un-answerable, guesstimate harvest time? im thinkin another month. or at least 3 weeks.

yea fail for sure.. just toss thoes babies in the trash and start over.

I have known pistils to start to change color in week 2-4 but im not quite sure what it is that causes them to mature that early ... The swelling will come later on and its very slow ... Doin fine man ...welcome back

as for when to harvest ... thats up to you man you know the signs your watching for .... But if you say 8 weeks for flower as a rough time ... its just about when you want to pull them .... may be 9 weeks ... may be 7

you know the signs your looking for right ?

ya, i just didnt remember my first grows pistils changing that fast.

ive read up on the strains so ill keep goin to their average flower time and go from there. and yes i know to look at the trichs, i just need a stronger magnify
