How are we looking?
Just made this scrog and ready to Flower tomorrow. I figure with a 2 week stretch that it will help fill up the remaining holes. (Before you say anytbing about my 4x4 squares, just know I saw after I started and said fuck it. Lol)
First grow, first scrog, first everything.
Suggestions, advice, comments, concerns...... aaaannndddd GO!

Should I just defoliate now? Or just wait for another 2 weeks?
I flip to flower today at 5pm. Should I defoliate now? Or just wait until the 2 week stretch is done?
 
do not defoliate..... defoliation is only useful when you have a dialed in grow...if you can make it through your grow with no leaf die off next time you may want to try to defoliate...leaves are not just solar panels they are also nutrient reserves …...your first grow and first scrog…. just focus on keeping your plant healthy and learning what it takes to keep her happy

Ok. So what about defoliate in flower? Or just don’t defoliate period. I have a buddy who grows and says to defoliate in veg and flower, but he’s in CO and I’m in OK. He’s been growing for awhile, me.... not so much. First everything
 
on your sixth pic you can see one of the lower leaves starting to be stripped of it nutrients lighter green and the tips browning.....the plant is getting larger and in need of more nutes...now it is not able to gather all of the need nutrients through the medium thus using its reserves... What it is deficient in I don't know that is what you need to discover.....is it not enough nutes or to much.....is the ph a little off up or down making some nutes unavailable

Your grow is looking good don't get me wrong it is a little problem for sure you would still yield, but if you remove the plants ability to keep the level of nutes it needs to sustain its growth by feeding of the leaves the problem will just become worse and yield will be less...does that make sense sometimes I can be confusing

No, that makes sense. If the nutes are stored in the leaves, and you strip those leaves, they could possibly be a lack of nutrients for the plants.
I try to keep the PH around 6.4-6.5. Most of the time the ph is around upper 6.45-6.62. Nothing more nor less. I have found that sometimes just leaving it as close as possible to the 6.5 (soil grow) it should be alright (for the most part). Sometimes it’s had to get it exactly 6.5 without add more water/ more ph down just to hit the exact 6.5.
I’m using fox farms trio for nutes. It says to add 3tsp of big bloom and grow big, but I’ve been using 1-1.5 tsp to start out and slowly been adding nutes. I just starting using nutes maybe a week or 2 ago.
