where in the usa are you? look up you "zone" zone 6 and above are good to plant straight in the soil outside after may 15no more frost.
i use a hoop structure but a sheet will work to cover on frosty nights if they happen .
so put dirt in a pot and put a fucking seed in it ya big cannabis grower you

All it takes to germinate, is a wet paper towel. You don't have room for that? Wet paper towel on a plate with a bag over it, should take a few days at most, then transfer to your outdoor spot. You could just put them in the ground too and let nature do it, although I prefer the control of the first method. Delicate little things for the first weeks.
