Hello. I recently purchased three young plants and each was rooted in its own rockwool grow cube. I could not find guidance on what to do with the cube. Do I remove it entirely before potting the plant or do I put the cube, as is, in the soil? I decided to NOT remove the cubes. I potted the plants with the cube intact. One plant is doing very well, the second is fine, and the third is struggling. Are the cubes holding on to too much water and stunting the growth of these plants?
What should I do? And what is the right approach in dealing with rockwool grow cubes?
These plants are growing outdoors in Berkeley, CA. The soil is Miracle-Gro all-purpose garden soil. No nutrients (yet). The plant is a sativa hybrid from PurpleCityGenetics.
Thank you for your time!
