I made some QWET with 190 proof everclear, first wash was for 20 seconds, turned out golden, gonna keep that for dabbing. Second wash was for 45 seconds, got a bright green antifreeze and I want to make some type of super potent candy with it. I don't want to cook some candy recipe though - I just want to buy a bag of candy (swedish fish or gummy bears probably) and melt it down in a double boiler, add my QWET, and keep heating it until the alcohol evaps, then let the candy solidify. Would this work? Right now this QWET has a really strong flavor of the weed I used (Chemdoggin) and I'd like to preserve the taste in the gummies if possible. I will need to decarb also, so could I just keep the mixture on the double boiler for a while to decarb it? how long?
