How come my germinated seeds wont break soil

Hey guys I started this grow using rapid rooter plugs and only 1 of the germinated seeds broke thru the top and the other ones still haven't came up although they have theyre taproots. I was thinking about opening the top of the whole to see if the light would help them come up cause it's been 2 days since the taproot has been out. Has anybody else had this problem and if so what should i do?

wait, dont dig it up or anything like that. it grows its tap out into the soil for a few days or over a week sometimes, then when it has the energy it will break soil

wait what? open the top of what? it should get some light at this point. if you mean open up the soil so the seed below sees more light, then no, dont do that. if you mean, open up some sort of box it is in because there is no light getting to the top of the soil, then yes let the light hit the soil surface. but again, dont dig it up

see what it does or you could be right on the other hand idk .just be gentle and it might come out ok .

I used rapid rooters with good success, but I lost a few to damping off before I got the hang of it.
