How come...

Its been a couple of weeks now since i bought my first ponics and have been reading and learning on this forum from since and i was wondering how come some peoples adjust their PH when they put a new res and not worry about it for a week or so.....and mee I need to adjust it every day ...whats up with that

and yeah .. what do you think which system is the best for maintaining ph and ec fluctuations

it is more the different nutes and the size of the res. the larger the easier.

I use about 1.33 gallons r/o in a 2 gallon bucket dwc, and ph stays where I put it... although I do top up with 7.0 r/o and set ph every 2-3 days in full bloom. You might have buffers in your water or nutes. If you're using tap water, that's probably the problem.

i good size plant in full flower can easily take 1-1.5gal per day, try to have a res that allows for 7-10 days worth of water. it will make life much easier, i can go 8-9 days without worrying or checking ph.

Well I'm growing inside a 38" dresser, and if a gallon of water stays ph stable for me several days at a time then it should be np in a medium sized res.
