How Dark is Dark?

Getting ready to flower my plants. I have limited space so I will be vegging the next batch (separate of course from from flowering area), but will need to access the seedlings in the same closet area. Is there a light i can use that wont stress the flowering plants while I tend to the vegging ones, like a dark room bulb or something?

I guess what I am asking is how much light is too much light? I used to grow outdoors many years ago and full moon and street lights didn't seem to bother the plants then.

if you're saying that you have a walk in closet with your vegging plants and the room full of flowering plants, then you need to do what I did. build yourself intake and exhaust channels thru your door with little fans. that will regulate your temperature with the cooler air during the night time of your flowering plants. and no, opening the door throughout the night occasionally for a second to walk through will not hurt anything, but constant low light during the night cycle is bad. some people use green light's to work during the night cycle, but I don't even trust that. schedule your shit to make your work happen during the day.

Hey Thanks Learning all the time!!! Will do. Yes its the same walk in closet. I do my best to schedule for on light times but my work schedule can mess things up.

Green lights always worked out for me. I buy the cheap ones from home depot. work like a charm. some argue that its bad and some argue that its good. i believe its all about being parinoid. but i've never had a plant go hermie from a green light being turned on at night while working around. but also if u have sensitive eyes green light might be hard to see in.

It's fine. Plants don't absorb nearly as much green light as other spectrums. It's why they look green to us.
