How did I get 4 males from 5 Feminized seeds?

I'm growing A-TRAIN from TH SEEDS. I pulled one because it was a short plant and I only had room for 4. I hit 12/12 over a month ago and they didn't start showing anything until 3 1/2 weeks after the switch. I had Blue Hash and White widow show without problem. I was thinking that this was due to heat stress, but I did not see a SINGLE pistil. Any thoughts on how I got 4 males from feminized seeds?
I'm using a 400w HPS and FFOF and tiger bloom.

TH usually has great quality seeds. Where did you order them through? 4 out of 5 is a little more than accidental.

I got them from The Attitude. I've haven't had that rate of males from regular seeds in 3 years. The Blue Hash freebie is a FEM seed too, but it's doing the best. The plants aren't root bound and they aren't showing any signs of heat stress.

"feminized" is a chemical treatment that only raises the odds of having fems, chances are even more likely for hermies.let them go to seed and quit buying chemical treated seeds

I'm well aware of the concept of "feminized" seeds. I'm just wondering why I don't have ANY females from this strain only.

The reason it turned male, to my knowledge, would be the Arcata e-32 Trainwreck in its genetics. it takes the Mazar I Sharif male and the kind of slow, kind of bisexual arcata e-32 cutting. that would be my only thoughts.

The complex late coloring is a thing of beauty and the potency of this mother is epic. Extremly potent smoking just a few bowls is an adventure in repertory failure and flat lining your brain waves. We decided to combine this incredible female with the genetics of Jack the Ripper.

So maybe next time have a look into your genetics, sorry that happened. it would suck, all that time and effort.

Fem seeds make no sense to me at all.

They are about the same price as reg seed but they give you half as much.

Okay....

so instead of buying 5 fem's, you could get 10 reg. Now odds are about 50/50 on the sex split so you will get probably at least 5 fem's from the 10 seeds. It's the same thing, except you still have the potential to get more fem's from the remaining five.

You never know how it's going to turn out. I put 20 up at one time this year and 18 were fem's.

Just buy the regular and hope for more than 50% fem....
