Drying is the evaporation process as moisture is lost. Curing is what we do, along with drying, to prepare our bud for smoking.
I dry my bud by putting it on paper towels that sit on 25x16x1 furnace filters ($0.88 at WalMart). After about 3 days the bud is 90%
dry so then it goes into a glass jar in the 'fridge for 24 hours. Being sealed in glass allows what ever moisture still present to spread evenly throughout
the bud. That's what I call curing. If the bud is still not right I leave it out on a plate for more drying. Eventually the product looks right to me and I
seal it up in glass jars for keeping.
