How do I spread these girls' legs out without hurting them?

4 x Leda Uno indoor Mother plants that I decided to finally put out to pasture after a year of faithful service are now enjoying their new Aussie sunshine environment (& LOVING it!). However, they're looking at getting a bit too crowded in the cola-department in the next couple of months & my crystal ball tells me that I can forsee bud-rot if they don't have some airy space between them.

Their branches are all kinda woody, so it's too late to employ LST.

Right now, I'm thinking to give each of them their own plastic pallet & gently tie the branches out/down individually to the pallets, but I'm happy to receive any other ideas.

Suppercrop?
I tried that technique with some of their progeny when I first put them outside & the results were....well....I had to cull-out a shitload of abject failures. 'Lost a lot of potentially good stuff. I don't have a problem with that, it's part of the learning-curve. I still have plenty of healthy plants to play-with.

You broke the branches? Skin shouldnt open needs to be an inside fracture.
Then best stick with lst.today bend 10% in a few days 20% and soo on give her time to aclimate then push the limits
Yep, I definitely fucked-up there, eh?

I used a pair of needle-nose pliers that I applied a couple of soft pieces of plastic tubing-to. 'Guess I went-in a bit too hard when it came to the prospect of getting the best from the girls.....

BTW, I'm not trying to be naughty or inappropriate here, just euphemistic......

Never tried it myself, but I've read about folks using a rubber band as an anchor for the tie to each branch ... as a 'shock absorber' to lessen some of the stress and tension.

Thanks everyone for all your suggestions & input.

Despite trying a few things suggested, I decided to trash the lot of them a couple of months ago, as they were all growing so densely in re-veg that they were just going to be bud-rot city before maturity & the branches were so woody, no amount of gentle persuasion & caressing would've reclaimed the situation. Is there such a thing as Marijuana menopause??:o

I'm not fussed, as these girls have provided me with hundreds of magnificent clones over the past few years that worked wonderfully during their tenure.

I know when to cut my losses.........
