You can't train a plan for a mother, it just is if you make it one, lol. Veg it really good and clone it, that is a mother.

tryin to train her to be a mother plant i can clone of off.i see lots of LST for plants that are going to bud but no LST for mothers
yeah lst is cool and all. But a mother is a plant you never stop really vegging find a strain that has all good qualities..Yield, trich, and risen .. the last two are more important... But you can clone off one mother for two or more years as long as you dont f*ck it up.. it take very good soil.. thats what I believe your using. And some expirence in topping

good soil i have (foxfarm) experience in topping i do not have so im guesing ill go through a couple mothers in a few years.

Also I am pretty sure if your mother gets in bad shape you can just grow one of the clones as a mother... Question about mothers I am onmy first right now, how do I stop it from growing tall my cabinet space is like 3 feet max what do I do when she gets to the top ??
