How do they grow for the HTCC?

So I got thinking today about not only the potency of weed but the taste and how to maxamize the weed to its full potential which led me into thinking that the seed company that produces them should know that plant inside and out. So when these guys (Barney's, Greenhouse Seeds, etc...) submit their strains for competition I wonder how they grew them. Soil? Hydro? Organic? What nutrients? Ya know?

Anyone else ever think about this or am I just stoned?

Pretty much just like the rest of us. We all have our own roll.......and years of working with a paticular strain until you learn too get the most out of it.....

Oh yeah, i bet each house is in some way promoting their own different preferred nutrient line. No doubt. Also, I'm positive each team enters both each division and use multiple different mediums. Or forms of a medium. (I use coco in EVERYTHING Drip/DWC/Aero/Manual)
What would be interesting is to see what your favorite breeder does to enter the cup. See what they are using on their grows of the seeds you just bought. I'm sure I've seen some sort of product placement on the Green House virals. Subcool is actually here, and he provides exceptional examples of how its done by the pros. Maybe you could find out a certain HTCC contestants method for the cup by getting one of their books. Then again... That could be trade secrets and you can't find them anywhere. Worst part of the books I've read from breeders have been the parts where they claim to withhold secrets.

Secrets. There are no "secrets". Just growers that have a passion for the plant. And some their wallets......
