how do timers work will they shut off a surge strip?

will an electrical timer shut off a surge strip? and do surge strips and the things you pluge into the wall that make you able to plug 3 things into 1 outlet give the same as an regular outlet?

yes i had my strip plugged into a timer and it worked fine. not really sure what your other question is asking.

Yes, the strip and 3 way spliter give off the same electricty. But be carefull not to use to many in one plug or circut. You need to stay under 15 amps at the wall.
