Thought this might be interesting...

My routine:
Night before eat tons of bread and starch i.e. potatoes. Make sure to load up on water.
This way the stomach gets nice and stretched out.
Then tomorrow I should be able to easily handle two maybe 3 servings.
My family always makes bomb food and everyone brings a little something of everything.
Oh and can't forget about wake and bake then Bake, dine and bake followed by a glorious nap!

^---- That is for Turkey Day

Thanksgiving is different. This is a time when we are supposed to be grateful etc. So I'll be writing a "gratitude list" in the morning.

I'll start with:
Thank you to RIU, all of the users, and countless other websites/ friends/ and google for everything that I have learned in regards to growing. This is the most rewarding hobby I have ever had and I love taking care of my girls. I wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving. I hope everyone has a huge harvest!

I like to wear a loin cloth and develop a skin rash that resembles small pox while the rest of the family dresses in pilgrim attire. I usually role play Squanto and bury dead fish in the yard for next years harvest. The pilgrims make dank pumpkin pie.

I start my preparations by consolidating a list of yearly grievances in September, and then purchase items of retribution in October. By the time November rolls around, I have conducted my rehearsals, and prepared myself physically and mentally for the final fight come Thanksgiving dinner. Come dinner time, I hurl the final insults at each family member, and select one family member to participate in physical combat upon completion of dessert. Following the physical combat event comes the destruction of personal property inside the home of the host, then I take a huge dump in the guest bathroom, stop up the toilet with T.P., make all the children cry, and before finally leaving, I ruin the front yard of the host by fishtailing my car in the grass as I leave.

Then, it's just a matter of time until Festivus rolls around.

We are non-traditional when it comes to Thanksgiving dinner. We're doing 4 slabs of baby back ribs, about 50 smoked & stuffed jalapenos, homemade ceasar salad, deep fried corn on the cob and twice baked potatoes, and some other stuff. Turk & dressing etc is OK, but nowhere as good as my slow smoked ribs.

Come on by any time. I'll start smoking about 7am CST. Then the smoker will get fired up about 10 AM. ;-) I'm gonna start with grinding up about half a bag of White Widow.

Once the meat is on about 10:30, we'll smoke some more, and probably make some Bloody Marys. Buddy showing up with a keg of homebrew (A Belgian Dark knockoff of Chimay that he has won numerous awards with) about noon. Hors d'oeurves start shortly thereafter with the poppers, my world famous kick ass hot wings (2 hours on the smoker then finish on grill), fresh hummus & salsa with chips and cheeses and hard italian sausage. Wife will probably make my favorite salad, that one with lettuce, bacon, broccoli, red onion, peanuts etc.

This is advertised as an all inclusive feed, but the girls always try to outdo one another and there is bound to be some surprises. One gal is showing up with a couple pecan pies for dessert for sure or I will not let her in.

Anyway, guess I better go prep the ribs right now. So show up at 7:30 AM or later and just walk on in. Please don't ring the bell as the dogs go berserk. If coffee pot is empty feel free to make a fresh one.

Peace to you, and all whom you love tomorrow! - AIM

For tomorrow my mom is making everything this year. She's getting older, worried about diabetes, and on a budget. So yeah. Yummy. Then on Saturday I get to go to my in-laws. Everyone hates everyone else, especially me. Food will be bad because nobody there can cook microwave popcorn let alone a traditional Thanksgiving dinner.

I have no weed, so I'll try to be very drunk through all this. Best not to remember too much.
