How do you harvest Pollen?

How would you harvest pollen outdoors without pollinating every plant? Put a bag around the males?

Anyone know how to harvest pollen?

cant help with utdoors, but if the males are close to the females pollen will carry through, bags would kill the p[lant would it not?

by "using bags" i mean put something under the plant, shake it with a bag over it and let the pollen fall onto w/e is under it (paper or tarp), then bag the pollen. But this would be for when I have some seeds from the internet, this year Im just growing bag seed and want it seedless.

i havent any experience in it myself but ive heard of people taking a sandwich baggy (empty dub sack lol) and putting it over the branct of a male plant which has pollen on it, and then take it and carefully put it over the buds which you want to produce seeds. and kind of rub it on there. and take the bag off. its a kind of way to contain where your seeds are going to pop up at. ratherthen having your main cola full of seeds hope that helps.

Wind will take pollen EVERYWHERE, nature is pretty good at spreading its seed, they are designed to float in the air and go every which way

Im just hoping noone is growing around me (cuz Im not the only one growing in these woods, lol) and they pollinate my girls.

If you want your shit seedless kill the males, fuck harvesting the pollen.

Move the male away from the females put a sandwich baggy over the male shake that shitinto baggy. Then walk over to the female you want to pollenate and put pollen on lower branch. BE CAREFUL PUT IT JUST WHERE YOU WANT IT NOT ALL OVER THE PLANT JUST ON THE LOWER BRANCH. NOW YOU HAVE A CROSS BREED.

Right! There is no way I can think of to let males mature in an outdoor garden without pollenating every one of your girls and probably all your neighbors girls too. The shit goes everywhere!

I'm assuming he's in the ground and can't move pots around.

OK, pollen only is viable for 3-5 days. You have to keep the male inside and you only have to keep one branch alive. Place plastic baggies with the pollen on the designated branches for a few days. Be careful but don't worry about getting pollen on other branches because all it will lead to is a couple extra beans. To pick a male I heard to go for the most vigorous, smelliest, but don't have any personal experience with it. Every good elite clone came from a seed. WITHOUT seeds, the cannabis plant will not evolve so make some seeds in 2010 and make your own strain!!

Like I said, this year I want to keep my shit seedless (can't help it though if the neighbors keep their males).

But, the reason Im asking how to collect pollen is because Im hoping to get a good harvest this year, and next year I will order some really good seeds, and those are the strains I would want to cross.

For example:

White Widow X Sour or NYC Diesel = either White Diesel or The Sour Spider
Bubblicious X Skunk #1 or Super Skunk (any recomendations for skunk strains?) = Bubble Skunk
