How do you properly administer nutrients to prevent nute lock?

my plants have had a problem taking the nutes and I realized it was nute lock. Today I flushed the system and I wanted to know how long you guys wait in between doses to let them settle. I was thinking 20-30 minutes, but wanted to confirm with the pros.

My first guess would Check your PH. Get a decent PH meter and see what your PH is. I let them settle for like 5 minutes before I add more nutes/additives. I have followed the directions on the bottle but it made no difference from adding them one right after the other and I wait until I am done adding everything to adjust the PH.

in for the answer,sounds like your in hydro?if soil..do you feed with nutes every time or rotate with PH'd water?

Yes I am running a 5 plant hydro system. The PH remains between 5.8-6.3.
