How do you regenerate a female after harvest

I have a female that is four weeks into budding. She is growing under fluorescent lights cuz its all i have for now. My question is how do i harvest the bud off her so i dont kill her? I heard if you do it right you can regenerate them after harvest. My goal is to take cuttings off her down the road at some point. Also do i change the light back to 24/7 after harvest? Thank You!

you dont . you clone the female before you put into flower .. If you vegg a plant for awhile they show the sex before going into flowering..

To reveg harvest the main buds leave a lot of small buds and leaves. Put it back on the veg cycle. You will soon see new growth beginning with a single bladed leaf as soon as it starts showing multi bladed leaves prune a way the remaining bud from the stems use a small pair of manicuring curved blade scissor for this. you will soon have many many new growth sites to clone from.
