HOW DO YOU "TOP" or "FIM" A PLANT?! IM SORRY BUT I NEED A PIC....CLARITY PLEASE!

.....topic says it all.

There are multiple "nodes" at this point... I really don't even know what a "node" is if you can help clarify.... Some posts say its where the main stem joints other branches, some posts say its where the leaves meet the stem...

I have clones that have been vegging for a week now, when do i top if they are about 8 inches now and have several sets of leaves and branches? When would i Top or Fim? Most posts say only do it early in veg...i want to confirm.

In many posts it says cut the top node off to top the plant but i also watched a video where the guy cut the plant in half...If you cut just the main bud off isn't that the very tiny little itty bitty piece on top? seems like i am confused of what cutting the top node or bud is...are they the same?

FIM translates to fuck i missed its about cutting the top above the node you choose no wrong way just get in there and do it

some say cut like 80% to fim, but to top, just simpley cut the stem where u wat to top, rite under the leaves

I agree topping is the way to go, at least for me anyway :)

Oh and yes do it early in veg, If you want you can even top a couple times if you give them time to heal..
