Hello all,

The heat here is up to 117 this summer. I have clones last the 2 months on a few CFLs and light nutrients in coco coir and solo cups.
Just now transplanted them now to 1.5 gal ventilated pots. They are small, maybe 10 x 10 inches. Want to grow to maybe 24 inches high and bushy in a 4 3/4 x 4 3/4 foot space
At this point I could veg them for just a few weeks and they could be ready for flower, however It will be up to 115 degrees outside this week and I can't efficiently run exhaust system without exhausting all my air-conditioning and still won't maintain a decent temperature in the tent. I elected to try to wait till September to flower if I can.

Question is : What is the Best way to grow them slow while LST trainig over next 2 to 2.5 months?

Thank You

One thing that works for slowing growth is to remove the flag leaves near the growth tips while leaving the new growth alone, no fim, no top. If a lower catches up, do the same, eventually you'll have a branchy monster that you might want to top at some point but it helps put the breaks on the tall ones so should be helpful to you too.

Build a trellis/screen and weave it a la scrog style in parallel with flag stripping and topping. Lower the light to minimum. Cool the temps some.
