How does this sound for a water only mix?

Hey guys,

I've been wanting to create an all organic, water-only soil mix for a while but haven't had the space. I'm moving into a new place soon so that won't be an issue anymore, which is why I'm making this mix now. So on to the question - what does everyone think of this mix?

Basic Soil Mix (1.5ft^3 total):
40% Peat Moss
35% EWC
25% Perlite

Amendments:
1 cup Meal Mix (equal parts bone, blood, kelp and alfalfa meal)
1 cup Dolomite lime

I plan on mixing this all up and letting it sit for ~5 weeks then transplanting into it once my girls (Jack Herer x C99) are done with a 2-3 week veg (from rooted clone). They will originally be vegging in Roots Organic with some dolomite added to regulate pH. 1 gal pots for veg and 5 gal for flower

Thoughts on all of this?

cripes if you are looking for water only you should dose your meals a bit higher and let it cook for at least a month as you stated. Look up subs supersoil and then realize that he is adding this to an already hot roots organic base mix that has been fully amended. He also recommends #10 containers that hold a true 7 gallons of soil volume. Water only would be very nice but make sure there is enough volume of supersoil and meals in there for them to go all the way.

yea look at subcools "super-soil" recipe. Whatever you do make sure you have ALOT of worm castings, GOOD bat guano, blood and steamed bone meal, mycorrhizae, and humic acid. The mycorrhizae you should do research on. It supports growth and basically sets your soil up for success. Humic acid makes all of the nutrients in the soil available to the plant. Also Look into happy frog soil. One of the best ingredient lists ive seen on a bag of commercial organic soil for the price. plus with the dolomitic lime ur ph will always come out 6.5. Just dont skip out on those things i told you about. also have alot of P & K mixed in. So when u fill your pot put the "water only super soil" only about 1/4 of the pot. the next 1/4 mix it in half super half base soil. fill rest of pot with base soil. That way the roots gradually grow into the nutes. That way it doesnt cause sudden stress, nute lockout, nute burn, etc. But as stated your gonna want to fill the super soil with phosphorous and potassium as thats what it needs in latter stages to avoid having to feed it at the end of the grow(definately dont want defeciency to defeat the whole purpose of the water only)
