How early can i top a plant?

I wanna make my plants super bushy so i wanna know whens the best time to start topping um.

I top mine when it has around 6 nodes, they sure do bushy out when you top them that young!!

I wait until 5 true nodes are showing and then I top right above the second node. If you are into cloning, you can clone the tops. (which is why I wait until 5 nodes show)
