How early is too soon to take cuttings?

you need to wait till the plant gets to 2 feet before cloning

dude good luck. you can clone them once they have 3 sets of leaves (remember, set means 2) and like 3-4 inches in length total. Note, you cannot clone fan leaves (can, but don't), also remember that if you clone that early... you're going to realize that the clone would have gained body faster being breast fed by it's mama. if you want clones you can throw right into flowering once they've gained some roots and vegged for a bit... let em get big
