got a handful that look like miners got to. i found out the mother i got from someone has them pretty bad and I'm getting ready to treat her in a few minutes

BUT the seedlings IDK if its cool. i know this is a bit of a hybrid thread and doesn't technically belong in the seed/strain review BUT its my seedlings that I'm curious about.

they are just throwing their first 3 set. just barely. very very small still. haven't even planted them in their own pots yet. most are in seed starting cells in a tray still.

any of you other seed heads have issues early and when do you treat?

Have used Capt jacks with spinosad and it didn't bother the leaves at all. I'd use it anytime after the first set of 3 leaves show. Just make sure it is dry before it goes back under the lights.
What kind of bug did you say was the problem? miners?

Spinosad (active ingredient in Captain Jack's, which I have used for thrips) is a beneficial, not a chemical, so you should be golden. I've used it on seedlings and fresh cut clones before without ill effect. If you're concerned, just make sure you use it and then kill the lights for a while.
