.. the MJ plant go with the first two weeks of flowering? So far its been a week. And of course I am outside. Most of the sexing hairs are visible, SOME pistils showing up on the tops. The pistils on top dont seem to be filling out some, at least not as fast as Id hoped.

But this is an 8 to 9 week process, right? Is it this slow the first couple of weeks?

BTW they are White Widows.

Your plant is right in the stage you want it to be in if you're like the 60% of us that have plants in the northern hemisphere, some plants are budding and others, like yours, are in the transition phase, it's always a 2/3 week process to go from veg to bud, you'll notice that the structure of the plant has changed and that the branches are staggering at the internodes, buds will follow, max 2 weeks, the plant is in its final phase and it is also becoming very woody, this process takes a bit of time, she'll be visibly flowering by 8/21 for sure, patience.

fuck yeah. I mean, thats good. I always thought the sexing part was done right at flowering. Meaning white pistils did not show their pretty face until flowering itself (full swing flowering). So I guess this is the preflowering stage, can it be called this? Or is it just simply transition? This is exciting fo sho.

Got some work to do now, doobie doobie doo. Gotta keep the bugs away, I noticed them today, lotta green, some rhino looking thing. Sweat bee things. I think an aphid.

Are these bugs naturally attracted to cannabis? Do the eat or shit on em?

i just hit flowering now also, the first week or two you will only be able to see some pistils then one morning you will wake up like i did with some little buds forming on each branch, my buds didnt form until 2 weeks and 2 days into flowering

ahhhh that is cool. you never know when it will occur. well, to some extent you do. jesus once said that "buds will come like a thief in the night."

so does this transition stage count as the first 2/3 weeks of flowering? or does it officially start (9/11 weeks) when buds start to develop? its the 18th, only got 4 days til 21st. Im getting impatient lol

Don't be too impatient, once the plant starts concentrating on budding you'll notice daily differences in the buds and how they mature, if they're getting good sunlight you'll see that the flowers will explode, remember, it's the plant's last act before dying, so she'll come around, you'll see, I start to count the weeks of flowering when then nodes are nice and compact and when you can tell that there is a beginning of a flower mass, then you'll notice the mass growing and covering the stem portion day by day.
