Small ziplock bag with two cotton balls. Wet them a little. 2 days later they should pop. I add them to rock wool cubes and water by had until roots come out the net pot. 5 gallon bucket with one tablespoon of GH maxi gro

I know you mean well but your method is so out dated and will cause more failures for new growers.
For 15 yrs, I've planted a seed in my chosen medium and waited, No soakin, no cotton balls, no chanting...100% germ.
