How I LST

After 14 days of flowering I bend the entire plant down a full 90 degrees in the nastiest way possible as if I were packing it into a bouquet of flowers, with the help of some linked zip ties. That’s the only time I stress train.
I do DWC with 15 gallons of water set at 1.6 EC and 6.3 pH (75f water) 2-8” air stones each bubbling about 10 lpm air (20 lpm per bin) with 4 weeks of veg prior to flowering 84f daytime temp, 70f nighttime temp.My plants reach another 3-4 feet in height after that tie down.
No screen . I did so many side by sides (with screen, without) and there is no difference in yield or quality with or without the screen. Let them fall a little in the last 2 weeks of flowering. It will not hurt anything if they were growing strong from the get go.
Do this LST method in an 18 container DWC grow with perfect environment (day and night) in a 6 x 600w HPS adjustawing avenger room , using between 30-36 Reserva Privada Sour Diesel (from seed) in jumbo jiffy pellets.
Try it. See how your life changes.

I am a big "SuperCropper"...bend and tie down branches and get my whole baseplant growing up...I literally crush the round stem flat, then let it heal with a big bulge...I also defoliate the shit out of the plants...I used to just let them grow and lolipop...but that is not enough to get a great yeild...

I seen that technique and wasn’t sure about doing it. At what point along do you do that knuckle technique (the stem break)?

Well generally you do this under a couple nets, but I do not...but it is the same principle except I don't fill the canopy, but strip all growth under the canopy and only keep the 20-30 branches growing up about 15"...it equates to a more usable amount...as everything gets light and grows a bud site that gets light...it it does not, it is gone....defoliate any unnecessary leaves to let the bud sites get maximum light...

You do this before flower with enough time to heal and grow up...I have snapped a top 3-4 weeks into flower and all was good...I will try to post a pic of a plant I have ready for flower and one that is in "training" for that bitch to give me some yeild...

I used to grow and just strip very little and had a dialed in setup...then I started the bond age and the defoliation...the amount of usable desirable buds increase more then 2 fold...let the plant concentrate on growing the big buds and not trying to bring up the stragglers...just cut them off by week 3 and roll on with it.
