how inferior are feminized seeds?

ok. time and time again, i have heard that feminized seeds lack the umph that regular seeds have, but i was hoping someone had numbers as to how much potency (cannabinoids and THC) is lost when you order feminized seeds as opposed to regulars. thanks for any help.

I don't think anyone has the numbers that you're looking for. Personally, I would take standard seeds over feminized any day of the week.

Also, it seems a LOT of hermi threads feature feminized seeds.

i don't know about "lacking oomph" as far as growing vigor and potency, but they are a lot more likely to hermi depending on how they were produced, and they are generally not suitable for breeding seeds. i've never had an issue myself, but in fairness i've only grown about 7 plants from fem seed.

I grow feminized seeds and have NEVER had a hermaphrodite plant!

I have also pollinated a fem plant and never had a hermie from those seeds.

And no, you don't lose potency from a feminized seed.

i grow both, and have never had a hermi from a fem seed, but i have had sum from standard seeds, and to me they grow and are as strong as each over.
