How is this possible?

I planted my tap root last night at 7 pm and at 11 pm it was already showing green. This pic is minutes ago the next day at 3:30 pm. She is white widow/Cali snow auto. This is my first auto. Is this normal?

When you plant tap root or the pointed end of seed down, the shell case will often stay attached due to lack of resistance when emerging.
They're stretching for light as well. Both factors are easily corrected. Lightly mist, then support stem while you flick shell off with a pin or similar tool.
Lower light or raise plant to stop stretch before they fall over and you're good to go.
