How Long Are You Vegging Your Clones Before Flowering?

Some say when you have alternating nodes other say when they come to height.

I am one of the when it comes to height about 12 to 18 inches tall, pretty much when you would with a plant from a seed.

Shorter is fine if you have major height issues but i dont think the yield would be worth it

Imo if you are indoors I start my flower stage at 6 to 8 inches or that many nodes. When they go into flower they gain a lot of height anyways if not double or triple in size

right and the stretch will still give me something.. But I'm hoping that the 8 days in the aero system will show me some nice growth and then i can switch over.. At least thats what I am hoping..

Growing 20 in a true aero system under an air cooled 1000w hps w/ co2

I'm sure the 8 days in aero will be plenty, especially with a 1000 watter on it. I usually only veg my clones for 10-14 days in my hydro system and they get huge.

Ok. I was originally gonna veg the clones I brought home from the club for about 3 weeks. BUT...

The hydro system is new and I'm on a learning curve. I have NOT killed them yet. They are growing up and out. But due to circumstances within my control that I FUCKED UP BEYOND BELIEF, instead of being 12-16 or maybe even 18 inches by now...they are only 7-10 inches tall. They don't look too bad, considering I've been through 2 BAD pathogen outbreaks, which led to multiple pH spikes. Then I had been using a pH pen that I lagged on calibrating and so I thought my solution was 5.8 and it was 4.3...big time screw up.

Yes. They still live. That is not all the punishment I put the ladies through...I was tired of typing. I hope to get an oscar off each plant, but now I think it's gonna take 10-14 days to get em back on track from burying the RW cubes too deep in the e&f system and damn near giving em all root rot!!!

So...I guess everyone is different when it comes to veggin your clones. AND the situation and unforseen stuff can vary the estimated time to harvest. :bigjoint: I was hoping to harvest in mid-late Nov, but I'm pushing that out to early Dec.

Peace Out

:peace:
