How long before i can put my newly sprouted seeds under my 600 watt hps ?

How long before i can put my newly sprouted seeds under my 600 watt hps

as i av no other source of light to place my saplings under so how long shud i let them grow on my window sill untill i place them in the tent under the 600 watt hps ? They are just coming out of the seed at the minuite !! Any decent sugestions pls !!

you can put them under your light now as long as you keep it about 28 inches above them,lower if its air cooled,for the first 5-7 days,then you can start to lower it more and more.
but the stretch will tell you when your plants need the light lowered.
i always put my seedlings straight under my hid light.

was hoping to here someone sugest what u av said as i have them sitting there wiv barelyany light when they cud b in the tent so i think i will do as u do man and keep them a couple of feet away from the light its air cooled in there to a degree wiv a little oscilating fan allso and if u are succesfull with this method then i suppose it can work for me also,, cheers man !!!

Consider the Days are starting to get shorter. If you love your plants, grab a Flores. light from any hydro store or home-depot/lowes. Most you will spend is around 25 bucks, and you have a solution for future plants. This light can go anywhere, even inside a closet drawer with your plants. (just make sure there is adequate air movement)

loud n clear man but dude am broke not in a possition to even set the thing up right now but this is what i will aspire to b doin in the future,, as i did no this was the way to go but like a sed dont av any dough at the min n the time to set this florry up though am sure it easy but eh thanx for ur advice man !!!!!
