How long can I keep a newly..

Hey guys, just a quick one.

How long can I keep a newly sprouted (broken soil) in a regular sized plastic cup for without it getting root bound or something?

Same question again except in a 1 Gal pot how long before I'd have to t-plant it

I've run out of space at the moment, any advice, tips or comments is greatly appreciated.

A month, maybe more depending on growth rate. General rule of thumb is 1 gal per month you plan on keeping it alive, but genetics and environment play a huge part.
