Will they stop growing after a certain point or will they keep growing and growing and growing ?, will they reach a threshhold while vegging or is all i have to worry about is them getting rootbound ?

new clones are fine but they are going to grow out of that in a week. You can get to a desired 14-18 inches in a one gallon before transferring to bigger pot to flower but I usually find them ready to get out of the 1gal at about 12 inches.

Yes, when the roots bind up growth will stop. Plant will not die.

I leave extra clones in their 8 oz cups, they reach about 10" max and stop. I have got over 20" out of a quart, so the stop point is out there a ways.

The formula that works for me is about 4 oz per gallon just regular food and light. Sativa versus Indica makes a really huge difference in height with the same small containers, whereas yields are consistant with pot size for me.
