How long can they stay like this?

I just planted a bunch of seeds in those plastic dixie cup type things. My question is is how long can they stay in them before they need to be transplanted? Also is it possible to find out gender before i transplant or will it be to soon?

thats gonna be too soon, in those little cups i would look to transplant after bout 10 days of them sprouting (personally).
