how long do buds swell after frost appears on leaves?

I was wondering how long does it take for the buds to swell when the frosting looking stuff appears around the area the buds are going to be? I am using a 400w metal halide

I've had frost on my plant since it started to flower!

My Buds started to swell around the 6 or 7th week but it depends on the strain and conditions obviously..

I'm in my 6th week of flowering and am not seeing any frosting yet, although past few days the buds are beginning to have a smell to them and fatten up. But yeah, what Sme;;ytreez said
