how long do i keep lights on??

ok simple question....when i start how long do i keep my floros on my germinated sprouts and then after that what do i do?? Do i se a MH light first and if so how long are the light cycles and how many days do i do it for or do i use HPS lights first?? Please help !!!

some people prefer 24hours on, but i just get them started with 18/6 from germinating. you should switch to mh or hps whenever the strain your growing stops vegging. you can leave them in veg for as long as you want untill you ready to flower but some strains start flowering at a certain, thus the name 'autoflower'.
when you decide to start flowering you should switch to 12/12 light schedule. hope i helped
