how long to sprout?

After planting germinated seeds, how long does it usually take them to sprout?

24/48 hours or so ,5ml of water every 12 hours till they sprout man!!!!

It may even take up to 1 week for sprout.

i've completed grows and thrown the soil into a heap in the yard and had beans that had failed pop up the following year...

give it 3 days max depending on what light your using

I had a couple of my seeds take near 8 days to even crack. Be patient.

once sprouted, how much light should be given? I just have one plant, and I have a fluorescent bulb on it right now. My one seed just poked its head above ground, and I was wondering if I should have my light on 24/7 or should I run a 12/12. Any advice?

for sure 24 hours, no less than 18/6.

I used 24 7 myself but you might want to go to the growfaq or start your own thread so as not to highjack someone elses.

after seedlings sprout up can you immediately put them under hid's lights do i need to get flourescent bulbs??

i have mine on 18/6, they sprotted yesterday.

I would go 24/7 but its not suitable for my growroom but 18/6 is fine
