How long to veg with bagseed?

The only type of growing I've done so far was a while ago and I never got to finish. I had them going for 3 weeks I think but they didnt get very big because their pots were too small. I'd like to start again, but unfortunately I have a time schedule. So, my question is, how long would I normally leave bag seed plants in the veg cycle and then about how long in the flowering stage? thanks

You can flower when the plant is mature. I dont think you will get good results if you try to flower a plant that is not ready.

The sure sign of maturity = Preflowers

And it usually takes 2 months for a plant to flower.

But if it has some sativa in its genetics it could take another month.

well most pple would veg for bout 4weeks or so, but if u have limited space/height u could flower wen it gets bout 12" or so cause the plant is gonna double/triple in size.

as for flowering it could take anything from 8-10 weeks for indicas and usually bout 12-14weeks for sativas

FYI, if its your first "true" grow start to finish... may want to figure in a bit more time. I'm on my first grow now and I had MANY learning curves, the seedlings had a very slow start. Though its fixed and they're growing like crazy in the past 1-2 weeks... I'm at week 7 and only about 7-8"...

It's all up to you.. you can veg a month and then flower... I've never got the people that veg a plant to about 14"only to get joints when if they doubled their veg time they'd get grams+..if time and/or space are the issues work with what you've got.... IMO... luck.

I dont know about that, I know people that start to flower at 12" and will get 2oz/per plant... its all about the light/nutes/care etc

I plant to flower at 12"

need to consider height limits also, they may double/tripple in size, so if you only have 4 foot of clearing you dont want to flower much past 12"
