If cured properly, how long can I keep it for before it goes bad? Which is the best suggest method to cure for long periods of storage?
I wonder if that holds true for butter.. This is crappy news, I was hoping to store a 1lb for 2 years, periodically borrowing 1/4 oz'z. Does freezing properly cured bud stop the degradation?it will still be good but the king of cannabis (arjan)said himself that 4-6months is prime smoke time and after 8 months....no good
Im not sure if he was talking about in a baggie, but you can store it for quite a long time as long as its in an air tight container, the cannaboids become deteriorated from the oxygen in the air...in an air tight container there is only a small amount of oxygen, and fresh oxygen only gets in when the container is open, so once the cure is finished the container should be opened as little as possible, and kept in a cool dark place. The longer I have kept buds in my curing jars (after the cure finished) they got better, and better, and better smoking, tasting, and even smoother.nope gotta call bullshit.
sorry dont wanna be rude but cannabanoids start to deteriorate at a very rapid pace after 8 months.
