So both of my plants are about.. 18 inches tall, and at first i was planning on growing them several feet...

now i'm thinking i'm going to put them into flowering at 2 ft..simply because i do not have enough lights for them to get any larger.

i'm working with 4 75watt cfl's.

how big you think i can go with these?
i'd really like to have a much larger yield than just two 2ft tall indoor plants, ya know?

anyway, thanks:leaf:

get a 400 or 600 watt HPS if you want a big crop it wont happen with cfls.... and when they are at 2 feet and u flip to flowering they will grow to 3-3 1/2 feet

I'd probably start flowering at 2 to 2.5 feet if you have room for 5 foot plants. Without more lights over 5 foot would be pushing it.

i grew a haze bag seed and i flowered once it reached 12" and it had a finla height of about 4". If your are planning on growing tall plants then you'll prob want to do SCRoG because the cfls won't do much to the bottom of the plant. it will help maximize your yield, but if you are wanting to pull buds off the entire plant then you are going to LST the plants or i always recommend a supercrop it will knock some of the height off a give you an extra foot in flowering.
If you are supercropping do it just before you enter the flowering stage this way the plant will identify its time to flower as well as its time to vigorously regrow the supercrop branches.
supercropping is essentially fracturing the stem, or breaking without piercing if you will. think of it as the human bone, you fracture your bone in an arm and you dont sever the skin and your body will devote everything it can to repair the damaged area, same as in a plant, it will send all of it N&P nutrients that the soil has available to regain origonal stem strength if not stronger. At this time the nurtrients can slowly be increased as the plant is recovering...
