How many clones can i get off a mother?

i was curious, whats the most clones anyones gotten off a single mother plant?
and what are ways to create the most clone sites,....just topping the plant alot or what?
i cant seem to get any search results on this topic and any info would be cool.

depends how big a mother is obv.

i had about a 2 foot tall mother and easily took 13 clones from it. but it had been topped a couple times.

my friend has had his white rhino mother plant that was a clone her self for going 6 years... he produces 34 clones every grow and harvest every 4 weeks or so.. he's got a nice setup going

but i have also read that the mother produces less potent clones over time? my buddy like i said has been going off that one mother and evry thing turns out like it supposed to... i'm planning on ordering a few different strains from a seed company and starting some mothers and grow those clones until i die or got to jail.

haha yeah i've heard you should replace your mother with a clone from your mother every so often. doesn't make much sense to me but oh well.

It makes perfect sense. Everything has a life span and the longer the span the weaker we get. If you take cuttings from the same mother you should understand that the plant has a life span that will be exceeded sooner or later. I don't know what the maximum life of a plant is but it makes perfect sense to make new mothers every couple of rounds or so. This is my own opinion and hope this helps. 6 years is very impressive.
Has anyone heard of plants older than that? Got pics?

i wish i had pics... personally, i like replacing my moms every couple of grows...

i flower my mother and get a new mother from my cuttings ever time better grow trust me

i keep 25 x 3.5ft mothers for 15o cuts
the tops dont clone aswell as the bottom/side branches.
Maybe 1o or 15 per

yea i just took 22 clones from a girl i had because i didnt have room to flower( i got 4 of 4 females and dont have room for them all?) i took a few that were weaker but ill get them to grow if not no biggy

I've been taking 3-4 clones per momma plant about every 10 days. They just keep growing and growing and I keep clipping/cloning and clipping/cloning.

Clones from female are always female unless they go hermie and that will be caused by stress, not genetics.
