How many days do I harden off clones?

[HR][/HR] I just started hardening off my clones a few days ago. How many days should I harden them off for? On Thursday I gave them some late evening sunlight for about a hour and a half. On Friday and today I gave them 3 hours of morning/noon sunlight(9-12) then put them in shade for the rest of the day.

i would say keep them in the shade a for few days iv had them start to flower if i put them in direct light if theyr not in shade for about a week. i screwed up wen i was first starting out i didnt know about the shade first. alot of clones were flowered haha

What if the plants are started outside? Will they inevitably go into flowering early? Unless you move them into shade at a good time? maybe im overthinking it lol

Plants from seeds are not mature enough to flower, clones however are sexually mature and can flower if triggered.

3-4 days was enough for me with 9 hours of window sunlight

find the ones that dont have a zig zag pattern pulling them just a straight stick. those are the best.

it is really strain dependent i find. gdp i put outside without any adjusting and they never wilt transfer fine but try that with most strains and death is definite. a g.house helps with tranfer to outdoor light. gd luck

i have never hardened off my plants and never saw a difference in growth or any stunting at any time....i put 16 plants out on may 1st with no hardeing off,even transplanted the same day......no problems,so you saying most strains death is imminent,well thats just not true...unless you live south where its very hot..im in ontaro,the temps were 22c high,8-10c low

i guess location would have a lot to do with it....

sunlight as muych as possible. and then keep under the kitchen flourescent t-5s for a remaining couple more hours.. done me good!
