About 6 for the 30 and about 20 for the 100. Typically it takes about 20% to saturate. Maybe more maybe less depending how dry it is.

Plants don't drink water on a schedule. It will depend on many conditions.

Those are the numbers for a dry pot with a full size plant in it. Im assuming he is trying to figure out how big of a water reservoir to set up. Im assuming he wants to know the maximum amount of water he will need per watering.

Why would anyone use a pot that size if they werent growing monsters? Doesnt take long for a plant to fill out a hundred gallon pot.

Thinking about your situation while i was taking a shit. It wouldnt hurt to do 25-30% of the pots volume in water, a little runoff is a good thing. Also make sure you get a good idea of how much dirt is actually in your pots. A lot of companies lie about the volume of their pots and if you dont fill them all the way that will make a difference. This will tell you how many cubic inches are in your pot.
