I was talking to a girl here in Pueblo who happens to grow bud, we were talking about her lights and everything then somehow we got on the subject of trim, and she says she just THROWS hers in the GARBAGE. She said she doesn't really know how to do anything with it... Now, I need to know. How many people just throw away trim????

I've harvested 1 plant at a time ans instead of saving I just throw it out. But if I get a few done at the same time I will save it. It's gotta be worth my while though.

Yup. this is one of those occasions even I think it is perfectly acceptable to say that bitch is crazy. No two ways about. Crazy. ALL THAT WEED. WHAAAAH. I can't go to sleep thinking about how it should have been smoked or made into cupcakes by me...

throwing away trim is tragic. if one were to put a dollar value on a particular crop, the value of the concentrates extracted from the trim are worth at LEAST half as much as the crop itself.

personally, i just grow the stuff to smoke, but the trim is what makes it so i'm never actually out of something to smoke. if you can make all sorts of kief, hash, oils, and edibles, why would you throw it away? wasn't the point of growing it to make it so you and/or others could enjoy it? it's like throwing away a bruised apple. there's nothing wrong with that apple. the horror.

Worth your while? If you harvest and trim that shit anyway you could even just tip the shake right into cake batter and fly yourself to the fucking moon.

I toss it most of the time too. If I save it I usually never use it either. I grow for myself and wife and have more than I can deal with. I make hash out of good bud. The trim hash doesn't taste the same. The leftover buds from two crops past get made into hash. This way I have hash plus two batches of killer cured weed in jars. The hash from six month or more cured bud is killer.

For serious, I am in and out of hospital at the moment and have chronic pain, insomnia and no appetite etc.

I'm not even ashamed lol There is no caregiver system in the UK. I will do you some nice artwork (pencil, oil paint, pastel, watercolor, tattoo vector designs), make you a dreamcatcher or something if you want...

Lol. Yeah. Worth your while :lol: Even if you just grew 1oz, that means you'll be out of weed quick. Roll some trim ass joints to smoke with groups, instead of smoking the 1oz you got. Even a tiny ass plant is worth your while. Because it's THC, any amount is worth preserving. It's a message that this plant has been purifying for thousands of years. Most plants are poison or spined if they are chemically active, marijuana is gentle and willing to burn to transmit its message onto us.

i throw my trim away nowadays because it's too much work to separate it into piles while trimming and i have no need to roll "trim joints" like shaggy does. i have plenty of actual bud if i want to roll a joint.
