However many you decide to pack into a square 5' x 5',(the approximate max coverage area of a 1000) or smaller. It could anything from one really wide plant, to a shitload of them grown SOG (Sea Of Green) style.

I'm gonna have 8 under mine, vegged to about 12-14", very soon....

Dont be fooled by the normal way of thinking here..... More is NOT better when growing.... Its all about light and conditions.... If you put 4 plants under a thousand.... you may get 3-4 off each one.... If you put 2 under it, you will get like 6-8 off of each one, if you put one under there, youd probably get 14-16 off the one.... its all pretty much the same... Do yourself a favor and minimize confusion, labor, and waste of nutrients..... Go with less, and you will crop just as big.... Theres no point of stuffing 6 under a 1000 and only getting so much light on each one, having to move them to water them etc.... Less is more... TRUST ME... I just did 3 Caseys under a one thousand, and one casey under a one thousand..... The 3 gave me 5 zips each.... 15 total... The one gave me 17 zips.... You figure it out...

How long did it take? What I mean is did the 3 plants under a 1000W take the same amount as time as the 1 plant monster?

That is the usual difference ... it takes veg time to get one plant to fill the available lit area. That's why pro hydro growers often opt for high plant count like in SoG. It's about time between harvests. Growing one tree vs. a hedge of nine under the big light ... maybe a two-week difference? cn

exactly... the other end of the scale from 1 monster plant is 36 plants at 20G per plant.
no veg, all done in 8 weeks from well rooted clones
I have done it this way a few times.

i average 1160 dry grams per 1000 watt lit area trying to get more this time around it all depends on a lot of things your reflector medium your growing in size of pots nutrients how good your room is dialed in all factors in on yield as well as strain and of course size of plant the plants your looking at are over 55" tall so for your answer 11 plant per 1000 watt lit area
