Hey guys, newbie here, I have a 300 watt commercial hps fixture in a 3x3 space. How many plants should I run at once? I plan on doing some lst to keep them short but it seems like such a small space once I got it built.

Just from your brief description, I wouldn't try more than 2 if your experience level is causing you to ask this.
I've got a small 2x2, and I grew ONE last Winter, and it took the whole space with just 30 days veg.
I started 5 beans this year, figuring with my shitty luck, most of them would turn out male, but I ended up with 5 females, and now I don't know how I'm going to finish them.

Yes first grow and I pick clones up tomorrow. I have plenty of ceiling space but plan on keeping low with lst. Guess I will just do a couple for first run. Thanks guys!
I plan on doing some oils for my sick mom so any advice is appreciated! I have no real growing experience but do have some experience with botany in general.
