so how many times can i clone a clone?

is there anything lost in the clone.

why should i keep a mother?

can't i just clone from the set of plants i have in veg?

when is the earliest people would recomend taking cuttings?

sorry about all the questions. i got my first indoor grow and am limited on space. so my idea is to just clone from the ones i have in veg. making it to where i don't have to keep a mother. only problem is if the clones degrade after you clone a clone from a clone from a clone from a clone etc etc.

so can i get away with no keeping a mother?

and if anyone else can answer my other questions i would greatly appriciate it.

u can clone a clone till the end of time, but u will loose vigor over time,bc the genetics will eventually break down as do all organisms.

yes how long is that break down

i mean if i cloned a clone for like a year or two and cloned a new clone from the latest clone after about one month. would the buds at the end of two years be comparable to the buds from the first original? will it be the same, a little less a lot less? i am just wondering because if i don't have to keep a mother then i can save that space for something else, like cloning or something. i have 1 room to use and i wanted to keep it all in a single room. so right now i might have to use my basement for rooting clones, then up to the veg room, and the room that the veg room is in is actually split into two rooms one veg one flower. so it would be cool to have enough room to put the rooting clones into my veg room.

i dont agree with this. there are tons of strains that are clone only strains and are still excellent and produce excellent high quality bud. fdd had a list on here a while back of the different strains that are clone only strains. so you can keep taking clones off of your plants. dont worry they wont lose potency or lose genetics. its a clone. it has the exact same genetics of the plant it came from. if anything i think it would make the strain stronger due to it having to fight to stay alive etc....
