How much can you make?

jw how much do some of you make, Say per light... I've grown a couple times, none successfully indoor though, and it seems like you make very little, for an indoor grow for the amount of time it takes. 6 plants, 6 ounces, 3 months, if you get $250 an ounce $1,500, thats only like 6 thousand $ a year, or am I way off?

seems a little personal.

but the numbers are off. there are many growing techniques that get you more harvests per year, and higher yield per plant.

lets just say, indoor growing done right. you can live comfortably off it, without a job.

Dude I know some people on this site get 3 oz per plant and have 5 feminized plants in a perpetual harvest all u need os 2-3 setups if you're trying to rotate and harvest like once a month....so ya plenty of people make a lot more than you're talking bout....I have to ask though...u do have a profession outside of growing marijuana? So it shouldn't matter it should just be for some extra smoke and to experiment....but if you plan on doing it to make money, like enough to live off of....then u better stop talking about 6 plants and add a 0 to that 6.....so hmm let's just say u didnt even do a perpetual harvest and only had one grow room....then 60 plants if u got an oz a piece you would have 60 ounces....which if u sold for 250 u would get 15 Gs each harvest. So if u did 3 harvest a year u might get 40 thousand if youre serious about it and u grow for just money...and u gotta think how much extra it's going to cost to grow it ( lights nutes ect.) shit gets expensive if u have 60 plants and 4 or 5 1k watt bulbs running all the time

I grew a plant with a cfl and probably got an 0Z so u can get wayyyyy more

must of been one of those magic CFLs..

Oh no my bad if u do cfls u need a few I used those y connects and used 4 cfls ( 150 watt 3700 k) if u only use one u probably won't get much cfls are only like 15 lumens per watt so they pretty much suck

Put 72 of them in 8" pots on a 4'x8' table, lolli-pop them. 1 oz per = 72 oz Of course you'll need at least 2 1K lights over them. Step up to HID and you'll get a lot mor bud per plant.

My harvest isn't for sale. It is all for personal use only.

i like to count how much money i save growing my own, a penny saved is a penny earned.

There is alot that goes into yield. I usually get around two oz per plant. I don't sell any so it just for me. five plants, 2 ounces three times a year, so thats 30 ounces per year. I live in a place were an ounce routinly goes for $400+ so 30 times 400 would be about 12000 if I sold it. Instead I don't have to spend $12000 on meds.

i average about 3200 a light. and i got 10 of them going split 2 ways.

) my min average is 1160 dry grams per 1000 watt light got 8000 watts goin on these girls and expect to get 1200 grams per 1000 watt light so my goal is 9600 dry grams in a SOG final height of plants should reach 64" tall with 2 litre sized buds everywhere ) and thats my smoke for a year guess if i sold it 1900 x 20 pounds= 40,000

you mean 1500+ lumens per bulb? what are you talking about?

Where i live i just sell it one gram at a time

$20 a gram can go a long way when i harvest even 1 ounce a plant * 20 plants

you know, these magic CFL's actually have real numbers on the side of the box that actually mean something...
