How much "cfm" do I need for this space???

Greeting's everyone! Soon i want a buy a new 150w hps grow equipment and I want to know how much CFM's do i need too cool down the bulb? My grow space is 56x58x125cm

help me please. Im also going to use 30cm cooltube.

Could 100 cfm extract fan work for this matter?



Later perhaps I will try a 250w hps in this same space. With cooltube off course.

So exactly how much cfm does it have to be more precise ? If we can be more specific.

Just do the math man, if a fan pushes 400 cubic feet per minute and you have a 56x58x125cm space so approximately 2x2x5 in feet. This equates to 20 cubic feet. 400/20 = 20, you're cleaning that grow area out completely 20 times per minute. I'd say a 4'' fan should suffice.

Which brings up a good point for me (i'm stoned and i'm asian, i like to do math). The TD150 S i just bought is 333 cfm and I'm building a seperate fan/filter for my bed room where my grow tent resides. My bedroom is 12x12x12 which is 1728 cubic feet. 1728 / 333 = ~5.1. So every 5.1 mins my room is completely cleaned.

Should the air change be around 3 - 5 times per minute in the grow space ?

My calculation is 1.83ft x 1.9ft x 4.1ft = 14.2257 ft3
106cfm / 14.2257 = 7.45
So the air is changing 7.45 times per minute in the grow space.

Little over the requirement, but there will be few 90 degree corners for all vent tubing which will decrease air flow.
So in the end it will be good I think.
